1. The Deal
Aether Tool provides free, browser-based developer utilities. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree — close the tab. No hard feelings.
2. What You Can Do
Everything. Use the tools for personal projects, commercial work, client deliverables, open source, education, or just messing around at 3 AM. No attribution required. No limits on usage.
- Format, minify, beautify, obfuscate, encode, decode, generate, convert — go wild.
- Use the output in any project, anywhere, for any purpose.
- Share the tools with anyone.
3. What You Can't Do
Don't use Aether Tool to break the law. That's it. Specifically:
- Don't use the tools to create, distribute, or conceal malware.
- Don't use CopyPaste to share stolen data, credentials, or illegal content.
- Don't attempt to attack, overload, or compromise the service.
We provide tools — what you build with them is your responsibility. A hammer can build a house or break a window. We sell hammers.
4. Your Data
Almost everything runs in your browser. Your code, your text, your inputs — they stay on your device. We don't see them, we don't store them, we don't want them.
Exceptions:
- CopyPaste — snippets are stored temporarily on our server until they expire or are burned. We don't read them.
- PHP Obfuscator — files are processed server-side and deleted immediately after. Nothing is retained.
We use basic analytics (Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns. No personal data is collected or sold. Ever.
5. No Warranty
Aether Tool is provided "as is" — no warranties, no guarantees, no promises. We do our best to keep everything working, but things break sometimes. If a tool gives you bad output, corrupts your formatting, or generates an ugly QR code — that's on you to verify before using it in production.
We are not liable for any damages, losses, or bad deployments resulting from the use of these tools.
6. Availability
We aim for 100% uptime but guarantee nothing. The service may go down for maintenance, updates, or because the server decided to take a nap. We'll bring it back. We always do.
7. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, the date at the top changes. We won't email you about it because we don't have your email. Check back if you're curious.
8. The Spirit
Aether Tool exists because we believe developer tools should be free, fast, and private. No paywalls, no sign-up walls, no dark patterns. Just tools that work.
Use them well. Build something great. Or something weird. We don't judge.
